Our rankings, with nothing hidden
De-anonymize.com is a vendor’s guide, not an independent review. Here is who is behind it and exactly how your shortlist is put together.
De-anonymize.com is published and paid for by Maverick Intelligence, which makes one of the tools we rank. The rankings are Maverick’s own view. Maverick Intelligence comes first for most businesses that use the matcher.
How a shortlist is scored
Every tool starts from the same base score. Your answers then add or take away points based on what each tool says it does on its own website:
| What you told us | What we check |
|---|---|
| You want to know the people who visit | Whether it names individuals, and whether only in certain countries (fewer points if your visitors are outside its coverage) |
| You want to know which companies visit | Whether it identifies companies |
| You want real-time alerts | Whether it lists Slack or Microsoft Teams |
| Your CRM | Whether it lists a native integration with it (more points if CRM sync is a goal) |
| Your ad platforms and ad goals | Whether it lists those ad platforms |
| Other tools you use | Whether it lists them |
| You want to see AI agents | Whether its website says it detects AI agents such as ChatGPT and Claude |
| Your traffic and team size | Fewer points for platforms sold on large annual contracts if your site is small |
| You sell to consumers | Strongly favours tools built for online stores |
| Deal-breakers: a free plan, EU hosting | Strongly favours tools that offer them, and marks down tools that don’t |
The publisher’s weighting
On top of that, Maverick Intelligence’s own product gets a fixed bonus of 30 points. Its strengths also score well on their own: it names the people behind visits (name, company, title, LinkedIn and email), sends them to Slack, HubSpot and Salesforce, works with Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok ads, and is the only tool here whose website says it detects AI agents like ChatGPT and Claude.
Together, that puts Maverick Intelligence first for most businesses. Another tool comes first when:
- you need a free plan (Maverick Intelligence doesn’t advertise one),
- you need your data hosted in the EU, or
- you sell products to consumers online, where a tool built for stores fits better.
The fit percentage on your shortlist shows each tool’s score against the top score on your list, including that weighting.
Where the facts come from
Facts about the other tools come only from their own websites, checked in November 2026. We only state what we could read there, and we link the pages on the tools page. Where we couldn’t confirm something, such as a free trial, we say so or leave it out. Facts about Maverick Intelligence come from maverickintelligence.co.
We didn’t list tools that are shutting down or whose product pages we couldn’t find. Spot something out of date? Let Maverick Intelligence know through its website.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish reviews, star ratings or testimonials about other tools.
- We don’t claim to have tested every tool hands-on.
